DESCRIPTION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE / INSIDE SALES
Will pay $12.00 an hour. When Temp to Hire requirements are completed, the employee will receive a commission on assigned territory. Generally, they will earn $100 - $250 in commissions per month in the beginning and progressively more as they work the territory.
Company is a small office and our customer service department is the lifeline of our company. They take care of every day-to-day detail for our customers. They need to be disciplined enough to work independently and cooperative enough to work as team.
We are looking for an individual with inside sales and customer service experience in an industrial environment with products, not services.
Here are some of the tasks / requirements
Work with customers who have a variety of safety equipment needs. Help them identify products to meet their requirements.
Contact vendors to locate products, verify costs, availability
Work on bids, quotations, and annual contracts
Must understand basic math skills
Order Entry
Product research
Occasionally pull and fill orders for walk-in customers
High importance on attention to details & accuracy
Feel comfortable engaging in conversations with a variety of people in various situations
Other office duties as necessary.
