Build and maintain a strong understanding of all business procedures in use at division locations focusing on the interface with Information Systems technologies and compliance with internal control procedures. Provide support to division plant personnel in all areas impacting financial accounting and internal controls. Ability to conduct both high level and detail research in order to identify and understand issues that impact operational locations. Using established systems analysis methodologies, design, recommend, develop, and manage the implementation of sound business solutions to business challenges. Performs daily troubleshooting, conducts ongoing training programs and maintains documentation to assist division personnel in performance of their defined duties. Participates in periodic plant audits as well as audits conducted by Corporate Internal Auditing for compliance with established plant accounting and internal control procedures.
A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent experience is required, with emphasis in Business, Accounting, Finance Analysis, Manufacturing, Industrial Management.
Five (5) years experience in accounting or financial analysis
Ability to think and plan creatively with a minimum of supervision; formulate logical recommendations from detailed analysis of business processes; effective verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills. Thorough understanding of all Microsoft Office products.
